Today the EPF Pre Recruitment Case listed before the Hon’ble Madras High Court for the final arguments. The counsel for the BSNL contested that the pre induction training period given to GEJTO/DRJAO for 10 weeks by the BSNL neither a training nor an apprentices, it is just like a railway ticket given to the candidates who appear in the examinations. On hearing this bizarre argument of BSNL counsel the Hon’ble Judge commented that BSNL HR managers require training in Labor Management and went on blasting the arguments of the BSNL counsel that BSNL being a big public sector cannot able to understand and distinguish the philosophy of the social obligations and sadly argued like a private companies. The AIGETOA LEGAL team effectively assisted our counsel for the case and breifed important points to succeed and convince Hon’ble Judge that the pre recruitment training is a duty. Finally, Hon’ble Judge reserved the judgment on a later date. Final Judgement will be in favour of the GEJTO/DRJAO's.
It may be noted that by winning this case all the direct recruited will be richer by at least 10000-15000 in their EPF accounts and additional 3-4 months will be added for the computation of the pensionary benefits. Further Details will be informed once the judgment is delivered.
