An Appeal to all members

Dear members,

There are several issues which are long pending before the management. We have received assurances at various stages of our persuasion but we can see the lack of commitment of management to resolve the issues. We are also aware that the health of our beloved company is very critical. It’s a well known fact that BSNL Top Level & middle level Management are Highly Corrupt and want to run out of BSNL by stuffing their pockets full of money by all means (Transfer Scam, illegal promotion Scam, Tender scam, aiding competitor Scam, strike salary cut scam). In order to arrest all corruptions and make BSNL healthier we have already filed many court cases with the help of CHQ and are going to file many more cases. 

Following are the gist of cases currently in various courts of Chennai.

2	O.A No.983/ 2010	Against the qualification relaxation in BSNLMSRR for DE & Above	LDCE passed DR SDE will immediately promoted to DE and in future only DR can become DEs and some of DR can raise to level of CGM, if possible up to Director/CMD level	For Four months BSNL couldn’t able t o file counter affidavit. So court granted Interim stay restraining BSNL to promote those unqualified to DE & above. Final hearing on 17/1/2011
3	W.P No.21520/2010 W.P Nos.21782 & 21783/2010	Against Non payment of EPF Subscription & Contribution By BSNL for Training period.	All DR JTO/TTA will get minimum Rs10000/- deposited in their EPF account by BSNL. And the Pensionary Benefits.	EPFO Chennai had already passed favorable orders. BSNL Management has gone on appeal against it. Case will be completed within two month
4	W.P.Nos.9687 to 9689 of 2010	ITS case	All problems in BSNL will be settled	High court bench dismissed the case. Appeal has to be filed in the Supreme Court and filing cost will be very high.
5	O.A No. 36/2011	DoPT Seniority Case	Sought to implement 1:1 Promotions as per the DoPT guidelines	court granted Interim stay restraining BSNL to conduct DPC
